Do vendors get an invitation or not?

I would recommend just reaching out to the vendors directly, either through email or phone call, to get their meal preferences.

No because they are contracted as your employees basically. Just reach out over the phone to find out their meal choices. You can set aside an invitation for the photographer but they will only be filming it as a keepsake/details shot.

We just emailed ours and asked.

My photographer has in her contract that we have to send her a copy of the invitation. So at least send one to your photographer (and videographer if you have one)

I don't think they need an invite, and I think vendor meals are different from what the guests get at my venue at least, so I would simply ask if there were any allergies or dietary requirements, rather than what their choices were. The venue will give them something based on that, I assume.

I've heard that some places vendor meals are different from guest meals. Our venue serves the same dinner as guests, just less expensive than guest meals.

We're only sending one to our photographer and videographer! That way they have one for the details flat lay, and if they want to shoot it for the video. We also sent our photographer a STD, but didn't for our videographer since we hadn't booked them yet.
