Do my arms look fat??

Kellie, on May 10, 2018 at 12:52 PM

I feel bad looking for self-validation but I'm insecure about them. I had a goal to lose ten pounds after these pictures were taken, i haven't, and my wedding is next weekend... I must in the time frame of second-guessing everything cause we're so close

Hey there! First of all, your dress is amazing and you look amazing in it! Also, IMHO, your arms look great- no need beating yourself up when you are so close to your special day.

But if you are still concerned here is a trick guys use to get some quick definition just before those wedding pictures:

    On the morning of:

Grab something heavy ( preferably an actual dumbbell)

    - Bicep curls: 2 Sets of 20

-Tricep Pushes 2 sets of 20

The exercise will not only add some healthy endorphins, but increase confidence as you get ready!

Here's a link to some easy workouts:

No, they absolutely do not! If it makes you feel better, I have felt this way too when I looked at my pictures. We are our worst critics! You look beautiful, be happy!

First, your arms do not look fat.

Second, I totally relate. I'm super self conscious about my arms. I logically know they aren't fat, but it doesn't keep me from zooming in on them. Trust me, when you look gorgeous walking down the aisle, or doing your first dance, everyone will be looking at the total package, or your smile, etc, not focusing on the one area you're self conscious of.

If you are like me and still going to zoom in on your arms in photos, if you're having a professional photographer, tell him/her. They know great poses to hide or slim down your arms, just explain that anywhere they're photographed you'll be hyperfocused on your arms rather than how gorgeous you look on your wedding day. They'll work with you to help with angles and poses to help and make you happy.

Beautiful dress. You have nothing to worry about AT ALL! Everyone is going to see how absolutely beautiful you are and look. You walk down that aisle with 100% confidence, your head held high and strut your stuff!!!

Your arms looks great. A little wedding glow (via airbrush tanning) will do the trick. Things always seem a bit tighter when they are tanned. Restricting diet or exercising excessively during this time will only make you more stressed. Enjoy this time. You look gorgeous!!!!

The dress looks lovely on you, and your arms look like... arms. They're supposed to look like arms. Just remember to stand up tall, and when you start worrying about how your arms look, refocus onto something you love, like your partner, who is marrying you because he loves all of you and I'm sure he would want you to love all of you, too.

That dress is gorgeous, and actually, my first thought is how toned your arms look! So, please try to relax. You are going to look stunning and be so caught up in the day that you'll forget about your arms. Just as it should be... Smiley smile

You look beautiful and always remember we're our own toughest critics. Not one person will look at your arms because you are going to be a stunning bride!!! Don't stress about those things, have an amazing wedding and enjoy your day
