Hi everyone, I've read a few different things as far as etiquette goes on this one so I wanted to get some opinions/advice here. My seamstress works out of her home, and has no employees. I'm currently leaving my 1st fitting and asked my seamstress if it's customary to tip. She said it's absolutely not expected, but always super appreciated. She insisted that I not tip her until I see the finished product, but she is absolutely lovely. Tip the people that take care of you! Smiley smile

I did and mine cost around the same. However, she was very accommodating since I for some reason got dates mixed up and came back 2 weeks after the date my 2nd fitting was. Then I wanted to aff embellishments on my straps and there was a hiccup with the straps I chosen ( I got the wrong color white instead of ivory) and had to bring back straps and she had my dress ready the day after. So just gave her an extra $20 for just being nice about it lol.
