Do bridesmaid dresses HAVE to match wedding colors?

I love that idea. I'm also doing cobalt blue, and I had originally planned on it being a color, but now I think I'm just going to stick with whites and golds as my colors but keep the blue dresses.

No, I think cobalt dresses with gold and white will be perfect. My wedding colors are silver, ivory, and cobalt blue and my BM's are wearing cobalt blue dresses.
