Dj/pricing

Hey ladies, we found a DJ who is known to be amazing, and such a great crowd reader and all the things you want in a DJ. He’s the first one we saw, and has set the bar high, so I am not sure about his pricing.. what are you paying and what’s the package?

We are paying $500 for 4 hours but might add an extra hour for $150 just so that cocktail hour isn't silent and awkward lol. Thankfully the reception comes with uplighting included so I don't have to pay extra for any of that!

We are paying $765 for 5 hours. We ended up getting a discount because of our early booking, so we would have originally paid $850.

We're getting married in Charlotte, NC and we're paying $1199 for DJ, MC, and Photo Booth services. This will cover the entire wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

I was thinking about our cocktail hour too... We only have ours for 5 hours, so I'm hoping he plays from 6-11. Our dinner is being served at 6:00, so I hope people don't care that there isn't any music during cocktail hour because the DJ isn't starting until he announces us at the reception!!

Sounds like he’s what you’re looking for. The important thing is that the DJ fits into your music budget, regardless of what other brides (from other regions) pay.

We're paying $1850 for 4 hours, but the package includes a DJ and an emcee. We're in the Philadelphia area.

I live in VT and found a husband/wife duo who do both the photography and DJing. They are both great (husband is the DJ and wife is the photographer). We checked out their portfolio/facebook ect before hand and they both fit our wedding style and personality. They had a bundled price of $2500, including 6 hours of music for both the ceremony and recpetion, along with uplighting. They also offered an additional charge for a photo booth but we opted out of that.
