DJ Must Play/ Do Not Play List Help!

Our "do not play" list included all of the group dance songs - electric slide, cupid shuffle, chicken dance, etc...

Jennifer yes that's a great idea!! I can't stand those group dance songs lol. Totally adding that!

Goldfinch- UGH I hate that Blurred Lines song!! Totally adding to my don't play list, thank you! Love that you're incorporating your parents songs.

LOL...we will have a few group dance/line dance songs. They tend to get people up and dancing - especially people without dates who wouldn't normally dance by themselves.

My DNP is ANYTHING and EVERYTHING by R. Kelly - no Chester the Molester songs please.

Must Play - a few songs by Michael Jackson, and as many New Edition songs as we can get!

Most of our guests listen to R&B and Hip Hop; however, we may have some multicultered guests so we're going to ask for their favorite songs and get them onto the list.

"Watch me (whip nae/nae)" is on my do not ever in a million years play list.

Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy is my most hated song ever. Not sure anyone would play it at a wedding anyway, but it's going at the top of my DNP just in case.

We put Pitbull on our "do not play" list, so annoying! Also no choreographed dances.

Do not play: "Blurred Lines", "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas, "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran, "Happy" by Pharrell, "Can't Stop the Feeling" by JT, "All of Me" by John Legend. They are all so overplayed and "Blurred Lines" is just plain sleazy.

Must play: "Groove is in the Heart" by Deee-Lite, "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai, "Hey Ya!" By Outkast

FH's Must plays: "Trampled Under Foot" by Led Zeppelin and "Turn Down For What" by DJ Snake

I literally told my DJ no full blown rap music. I don't need a song coming on talking about bitches, drugs, and guns while my elderly family members are sitting there. Ugh lol.

My MUST plays are anything by Frank Sinatra!! I LOVE him. I actually want the Cupid shuffle played because it's fun! Lol

ETA: I'll be putting Despacito (sp?) as my DNP. I HATE that song

All of Me and Thinking out Loud... overplayed huh? Wow, you must live in a state where they blast that...def NOT overplayed, very good songs

Ha, I love how Blurred Lines is the definite DNP! That was the first song I put on there. I'm totally in love with Can't Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake so that's on my must play list!

No Drake, Justin Bieber, or Chris Brown. No Cupid shuffle no cha cha slide. That's it really lol.
