My fiancé and I recently went to see our favorite band and got to talk with them after the show. They told us they might be able to play at our wedding in April of 2021, but they're not positive about their tour schedule yet. I wanted to get some opinions of how late I can reasonably hold off on booking a different DJ to find out if they'd be able to come. Thanks!

I wouldn't feel comfortable getting any closer than 6 months out, and even then you likely won't have your first pick of DJs.

We booked about a year out but you could reasonably wait until 6-8 months out. Do they know when they might be able to give you an answer?
