diy Vintage Veil

Emma, on March 9, 2020 at 9:15 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 3

So last minute I decided that I might like to wear my grandmother's veil. She wont be able to make it to the wedding so I thought it would be so special if I could wear her veil. The only problem is that after she and my grandfather were married she had her wedding dress turned into little keepsake teddy bears (which I have and love) but the tulle from the veil was just sewn onto the bear. I've managed to get it off in one piece, now I just have to clean it and attach it to a hair comb. Does anyone have any tutorials they've used to make their own veil?

I haven't used one, but there are a million Youtube tutorials. This one looked like it could be helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HHL9Z8bURU.

I’m doing a birdcage veil similar to this one. Plenty of videos on YouTube and also check out Pinterest 😀
