DIY Scroll Wedding Programs.

Savannah, on July 13, 2009 at 1:04 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Ok, so I refuse to pay someone else to make our wedding programs. I want scroll programs but I can't find any templates and I am clueless as to what goes on the actual programs. Neither of us are religious, there will be no "readings" or anything, and all music is being done by our DJ. What kind of paper do I print them on??? help..im so lost..lol

    Hello,

We use heavy Linen Cardstock for our programs but make sure it's not too heavy for your printer. With this cardstock and the right script you are sure to impress your friends. To give you an idea about setting up your programs, you can visit our site and click on the Programs tab. There are some programs with wording on them. I hope this helps.

I'm sorry, try linen paper....cardstock will be too heavy for the scroll.

I got Translucent Vellum paper to give it an elegant look. There are many colors to choose from. I got ours from ebay 200 sheets for around $31. If you choose to use this make sure its inkjet (do DIY on home printer) or laser compatible (if you took it somewhere professional) or it wont print right. Staples will print them for 10 cents each all you have to do is take in template you want and the paper. That's what we are doing (going to Staples) Here is a picture of our type of paper. Then all you have to do it tie a ribbon around it and it's not heavy and bulky like card stock.
