It's really easy to buy backdrops and props. Even dollar tree sells photobooth props and backdrops now! But I think the hard part is the photo portion - have an iPad? A Polaroid? Or you can even have people use their own phones and use a hashtag for it.

For props and background defiantly amazon and etsy are great! Not too sure about how to actually take pictures though without hiring someone.

Hey Caitlin! Do you have a polaroid camera? Or what type of camera equipment were you thinking of using?

What about doing something simple using pipping, adding some draping and decorating how you wish? Here is an example I found on Pinterest Smiley smile

My theme is rocks and gems, so I bought a wall hanging with an agate design, made my own props out of craft foam. Our DJ is providing the photo booth equipment, but I would have just used my iPad or let them use their own phones. I’m planning to have disposable cameras anyway. I love pictures I can touch and go through and digital images aren’t guaranteed to last.

I’ve seen selfie stick stations for wedding photo booths and that have guests hashtag it. I’ve looked at a ton of options for us too that involved printers, but it’s a super complicated set up. We actually ended up purchasing a ring light and I’ll use my old cellphone to take pics. They’ll get uploaded into a Google Drive that any guest can access and share themselves. We’ll end up printing out copies and sending it with the thank you note later. And I’ll probably end up making the backdrop out of paper to save some money.

Not sure if you've found what you were looking for, but I found these on Etsy! Many are templates you have to print, but these aren't!

I would say maybe check Facebook marketplace to see if any brides are selling their photobooth items like props, backdrops, etc. that you could get at a reduced price
