Happy Saturday people

Like many brides out there, I'm looking to save costs for my wedding and doing DIY hair and makeup. I did a trial run today and would love any tips you can offer me! Esp. when it comes to eyeshadow, since I rarely do it. I will be getting eyelash extensions so that will help! My MOH will be helping day of as well and she did her own hair/makeup for her wedding.

Also also, any ideas for hair styles? I am looking to curl my hair similarly to how it is here, and want it mostly down, but any ideas with that too are most welcome!!

I don't normally wear too much makeup which is why I went a bit lighter maybe than what I should, what do you all think???

Hey! I'll be doing my own hair and make-up as well! I think you did a great job. I would just add blush and contour/highlight. Your eyes are so beautiful though! Is your hair naturally curly?

Love it and your big beautiful brows! They really frame your face. I think your makeup looks really good for a natural look but I think your eyelids would look better slightly darker. Not a smokey or glam look or anything but like a champagne color.
Your lip color is perfect!

You are pretty, the hair with curls compliments your eyes and face, maybe add some more color to the eyes, and some highlight to brighten out your cheek bones. I am also diying my make up I watched a lot of YouTube videos and those helped me.

Hey! Thank you My hair is naturally curly, but for my wedding and for this look I did use a curling wand to make them looser. I did put some blush and bronzer and highlight, but I think I may have been a little afraid to do too much, haha. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you so much! Yeah I think I could go darker all around--in person it seems like a lot but in pictures it definitely doesn't look like it! I got a nice shadow palette to work with so I'll be brave and try to go bolder.

Thank you!! Ahh yes, the beautiful world of YouTube--I've been watching quite a few videos to try and get the right technique and everything. All the beauty gurus I watch make me feel like this is somewhat doable. Good luck with your DIYing!

It looks really pretty! I would darken up the eyeshadow in the crease, definitely add more blush and highlight, and that's it! I did my own makeup too. I almost NEVER wear makeup, so I just practiced and practiced. Blush is the hardest. You think you have a lot on in person, and then it disappears in pictures! I thought I had a lot on, but you can barely see it! This was mine!

Trista this is all such good advice! You looked radiant on your wedding day. I 1000% agree with the blush! I felt like I put a lot on but you can't tell at all, haha. I try to shade everything a little darker/more defined so hopefully you can at least see it somewhat in photos!
