Has anyone diy thier wedding flowers using fresh gerbera daisies? If so, how did they hold up and do you have any tips?

I assume they'd hold up as well as any fresh flower bouquet, but IME you picked a pretty expensive flower! There are tons of inspiration/ideas if you just do a google search. Good luck! Can't wait to see how they turn out.

I'm using gerbera daisies in my bouquet, for the boutonnières, and the corsages. I just love the bright bold colors of them. My sister also had gerbers at her wedding, and they looked lovely and held up pretty good.

Elizabeth~Are you going to do straight gerbers or are you going to mix other flowers with them? I keep going back and forth on if I want to add some roses. I plan on just doing hand tied boquets. Are you doing them yourself? Did your sister do her's herself?

I am going to have a mix, gerbers, hydrangea's, i think a couple roses. We (my sister and I), both went to the same florist - she's a very popular wholesaler, so we were able to get the best deal in the area. She made me a mini bouquet when we booked her as our florist! It was gorgeous.

You will need to be careful because the stems can be somewhat fragile. The florists always place a wire just under the head and wrap it around the stem so that it can be manipulated safely.
