Hey ladies! I couldn't resist sharing the cake I made for a friend's bridal shower a little while back. Yes I know there are a few sloppy points but it was my first time working with fondant (homemade marshmallow fondant--much yummier). Yes her dress is all edible as well. I tried to use this and other cakes I have made to argue my way into making my own wedding cake but my mom and FH wouldn't hear of it Anyway, I hope you enjoy the eye candy!

Yes, I have no problem making them taste good lol. It is making the icing all smooth and prettified that gets difficult But I guess my mom and Fh are right, I would be a royal mess if something went horribly wrong and my wedding cake collapsed on me. It would be a good tasting mess at least

Here is my sisters birthday cake from about 5 years ago. WOW! That took a long time to make! And then as we sang "Happy Birthday" one of the candles leaned too close to the turret and lit the icing flower on fire. SO I ended up with a small hole burned in the turret by the time we realized LOL. You never know what can happen when you attempt a cake on your own :-D

LOL! I know! Aren't the doll picks hideous? I honestly picked the best looking one out of the bag and TRIED to fix her hair and make her presentable. Wilton needs to make us some good looking sexy dolls haha!

And WHERE do you always find the perfect photo for any situation? LOL cracking up here...

HMM, I think that's the same doll I used to get on my birthdays when I had doll cakes! Wilton needs to update, even Betty Crocker got a new image several years ago!
