Anyone else doing disposable cameras at your reception? My FH and I were really wanting to do a disposable camera for each table but after looking into it the cost to buy and develop them are pretty costly. They have a Walgreens locally that will develop each camera for $15 a piece at Walmart it will cost $10 per camera but is shipped to California to be developed. Any other alternatives?? Would it be worth it to get maybe two cameras rather then none?? Our wedding is 9 days away.

Nowadays, you may get a few smart asses that even make a picture with their phone of the disposal camera and put it on Instagram. With hashtags like this: #outdated #Ihaveaniphone #timelapse.

Sorry to help the raining on the parade.

I wouldn't do the disposable cameras. If you want an alternative, I bought a instax camera, it's an instant film camera and about 100 exposures for about $150 from Amazon. I'm making my cousin the "photographer" for that. People can keep the snaps or give them to us, whatever they prefer.

Don't do this. You can print pictures taken with iPhones. Just create a hashtag or use the Wedpics app. Please don't do this, there are so many better, easier and cheaper options.

We are definitely doing Wed Pics, Instagram and Facebook. Thought that it would be a fun idea but sounds like it will be a waste of money at this point! Great idea, just not worth it. Thanks everyone for your input!!

So many people have smart phones now so disposable cameras would be a waste of money. We have thought about giving a couple to the kids at the wedding to see what they see. We are using WedSocial, instagram and facebook.

I also think it's outdated but it is personal preference. However, I bought 6 disposable cameras as part of the kids favors. We are putting them in their gift boxes at the kids table. It'll keep them busy, among other fun gifts we added. They can take pics of whatever they want (I don't want the film). But disposable cameras for adults I wouldn't do.

I thought about doing this because FH and I are not into all the social media stuff like instagram, but because we know the pictures will likely come out of poor quality I think we're going to skip it.

I'm only doing them for the kiddos. It gives them something to do. Smiley smile I don't really mind if the photos don't turn out.
