So everyone my fiancé and I are getting married on our 5th year anniversary 08.18.18 and won’t be doing our honeymoon until this December. (We are doing a mini moon right after just a weekend thing :-) ) We decided on going to Disney world (it’ll be his first time going). We we wondering if anyone has gone there or knows someone that has for their honeymoon? We’ve been searching online and haven’t found any tips on pricing or much of what they offer. We’re trying to figure out if the honeymoon package is a good deal or are we better off getting regular passes? I honestly don’t want to spend more than what I should. Like I assume for a honeymoon package they do a hotel/restaurant deal thing. But we aren’t interested in that. Anyways any info will help. Thanks!

My advice is similar to some of the wonderful people that have already commented.
i would highly recommend using a Disney travel agent. They are always free and always have an updated list of discounts. Generally speaking there’s always some type of promotion going on. I always always always suggest staying on resort. While staying somewhere else may save you money, to me it’s not worth the hassle. Staying on resort will get you free transportation to and from Orlando international airport (they even pick up your luggage and drop it off in your room and then check your luggage in when it’s time to leave). Free transportation to the parks so you don’t have to worry about parking. There are a bunch of other perks, but a travel agent can run scenarios for you to see if honeymoon package or regular package would be cheaper for you.

If you have any questions about Disney world feel free to private message me or even just reply to this. I’m not a certified agent but I just went there twice within the past year and know a thing or two and LOVE helping where I can Smiley smile

We are going in October for our honeymoon! We booked directly through Disney, there are no honeymoon packages, but keep your eyes out for free dining and room discounts. A couple of times a year they release free dining plans (usually off season) and it can save you a lot of money. If they release it after you book you can call and they will apply it to your booking. Same goes for any discount that applies to your stay. You can also rent Disney Vacation Club (DVC) properties through DVC members and stay at a deluxe resort at a fraction of the price it would cost to go through Disney. Since you are cutting it close once you book I would book your dining reservations and fastpass attractions asap. A travel agent can also help a lot of this is the first time you are booking, and they won't cost you anything.
