ETA Leaving a few months after our wedding so we can have an escape from winter

Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas for two weeks right after the wedding!

We are planning on taking a quick one (4-5 nights) after our wedding to The Bahamas or some similar Caribbean location. We've seen a lot of pretty cheap deals!

We are going on our big honeymoon the following year to New Zealand/ Australia! We definitely need more time to save vacation days and money!!

I believe we are going to Hawaii! That's what I'm pushing for anyway ;-).

My FH picked the location where he wants us to go for the honeymoon. He picked Tahiti, so it looks like we'll be going there (possibly mixing it in with a little Bora Bora. not quite sure on that one yet...). Ever since I was a teenager I've pictured honeymooning in Hawaii, but my FH is from Hawaii. We want to go somewhere on our honeymoon where neither of us have ever been before (so that we can both experience it for the first time together), so that rules that out.

Awesome! All these trips sound incredible!! My fiancé and I wanna go somewhere tropical. I've actually heard Costa Rica is just amazing. Obviously Tahiti and Bora Bora are as well. 6 months before we get married we are in a destination wedding that is setting us back $3500 for 4 nights so we would like to be very cost effective for out honeymoon.

We went to st Lucia. I did enjoy Costa Rica when I was there too.

We are on a budget. we both lo e the outdoors so we decided to go to lake Tahoe. Our wedding is in June but lake Tahoe has a ton if winter activities too.

Probably Costa Rica next year, but we're taking a few days to go to Niagara Falls for a mini moon.

We decided on a cruise to Mexico so excited!! We are taking a Mini-Moon in Vegas where our DW is and then leaving for the cruise a few days later.

We went to Gatlinburg. We also drove to NC for a day to visit the Biltmore.

My bff (MatronOH) went to Tahiti and Moorea, and she said that while Tahiti was beautiful, she really wishes she would have spent the whole time in Moorea.

Gatlinburg for us. We are renting a cabin in the mountains!

We are looking at a cruise that goes to Copenhagen, Norway Fjords, Iceland, and Loch Ness Scotland!

We are going to do a safari in Nairobi, Kenya and the beach in Zanzibar! We got crazy cheap tix that I couldn't pass up. We are leaving about 2 weeks after the wedding.

I believe it'll be an 8 day (or so) stay in Iceland!!

ETA: I would also love to take FH to Cartagena, Colombia. It is so gorgeous there and he loves history and architecture, so I think he would love it. Plus I have family that lives in Colombia and won't be able to make it to our wedding in the states (due to not having US visas) - so we could do a "renewal" of sorts at our year anniversary, so my family in Colombia can be a part of the celebration - or maybe we will just have a party in Bogota (where most of them live) and then just take a small trip to Cartagena.

We're hoping to go to Paris. Hoping travelzoo.ca will save us some money as we are on a budget...

We went to Fiji. We both love coral diving so we decide to go Fiji.We are leaving about 1 weeks after the wedding. Super excited !!!!
