When should I send my invites for a Destination wedding?

We are inviting 60 people to our Vegas wedding. So the breakdown is:

Wedding is May 25th: Exactly 4 months from today

Venue needs final numbers 30 days out: by April 25

STDs were sent out in late October.

What is the protocol for when I can send my invites? And how long should guests have with them before I ask the reply cards due? The invites are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Being that is is Memorial Day weekend in Vegas - a super busy time for LV, I want to gently, subtlety encourage people to get their hotels booked via sending the invites.

I am having a DW may 21and I am sending my invites out next week. I have my RSVP date as April 1

Oh, also of note - my cousin's wedding is March 23. Her invites are going out on Feb 7. We are inviting a lot of the same family and I don't want to "usurp" her or eclipse her mailing. Does that make sense?

@Elizabeth - see, I wanted to send mine around Feb 7, it would give everyone enough time and my invites would arrive around Valentines Day awwwww. But like I said, my cousin had the same idea and since her invites are going out then I have to figure out a respectful amount of time before I sent mine. ugh!

If your counts are due 4/25, allow yourself a few weeks to chase people down. So, have your due date as 3/25 or 4/1 to give yourself 4 or 3 weeks. You can send them out in the beginning of March or mid March depending on your RSVP deadline. You won't be trouncing your cousin's wedding b/c she should have all of her RSVP's back by the time you send your invites.

My wedding is June 29, my RSVP date is May 1..I'm sending them out beginning of March! I don't think there is a set date for DW

Yes, my STDs went out in late October.

Ok so I will send them at the end of February. I'm neurotic so if I wait too long I'll go crazy
