Oh! As much as I hated the shoe game, i could not get time to tell my MC's to rule it out. Well, I'm super glad I dint! It was so much fun!!! We had the crown in stitches! They asked us questions while we held one leg of each of our shoes. So for instance they ask "Who drives better" If i think its me, I'd raise up my shoe and if he thinks its him he would raise up his. When we have both the guys shoe and the girl shoes up in the air, it means we did not agree and then we had to kiss. LOL I think what made it fun were how absurd and funny the questions were

The second game was quite interesting too, dunno if it has a name. But pretty much they cover ur husbands eye and put pins on ur dress and ask him to find them with his eyes blindfolded. Of course the only way for him to find them would be to move his hands across your body softly so he doesnt miss any.....that's the fun part that gets the crowd laughing becuz they pretty much get to watch ur husband caress ur body. LOL!

Yh Mikala, its weird, I did a post on asking for games before my wedding...I think I got only one response. LOl its either people on here are just not into it or something else. I had to end up googling but my MC's told me not to worry my pretty head that they got it covered. lol...so if u really need sggestion, i suggest u google wedding games.

    Thanks Shara Smiley smile

Ps: thats a very unique name Shara, love it.

I've only heard of the shoe game. But I'm mixed emotions on actually doing it or not. I don't want it to ruin the "party flow"......

I've only heard of the shoe game as well, but unless your reception is an afternoon or there won't be any alcohol, I don't honestly understand the need for games. People want to enjoy dinner and dancing in the evening. My cousin did this at his wedding and although the questions were funny, I would have preferred to dance. Games are really fun at shower though- have you thought about doing a Jack and Jill?

I agree with Megan. Maybe even the rehearsal dinner?? I'm undecided. It's a realllly cute game. I just don't see stopping the DJ and dancing and drinking for it Smiley winking

Yeah I have to agree, we dint have alcohol...but then again its the circle of your friends. My wedding was about 80% of our college friends which H and I went to, so we are used to a certain type of weddings which kinda all include games. Even when there has been alcohol, now it is almost strange to not have a wedding without a game. Lol..So i guess its what you and ur circle of friends have been exposed to or kinda used to.

PS: the games should not be played while people are dancing...now thats just weird. Usually it is when people are eating, just for something to keep the atmosphere alive while they are all munching Smiley smile

We played a version of the shoe game (with paddles instead of shoes and prizes shown below) during our cocktail hour while we were taking pictures. In this video you get a quick glimpse of how it came off. Skip to 4:12 of the video. People LOVED it. We actually could have taken a little more time with pictures because they were having such a good time!

I will note that we do a lot of entertaining and we ALWAYS have games of some kind at the party so people would have found it completely odd if we didn't have a game incorporated in our wedding!
