I was at a shower that gave cello baggies of the mini soaps from Bath & Bodyworks. Those went over really well.

Dont know exactly what kind of prize it will be but anything useful. Cookbook, candles, lotion, jewelry, a little plant, bottle of wine, manicure set, restaurant gift card, gas card...

Starbucks gift cards are a nice idea, but I wouldn't go over $5. You could also do small gift cards to local businesses, like ice cream shops or something.

Here's an idea though -- what if went along the lines of the bride's favorite things? Like Oprah, lol, but not cars Smiley smile But you could do the bride's favorite candy, her favorite movie, her favorite book, something to do with her favorite sports team, or her alma mater. If she loves coffee, do the Starbucks card, do her favorite wine/drink, or something to do with a favorite hobby. Like if she paints, do a paint by numbers or if she knits, get a skein of yarn and knitting needles.

The travel-sized lotions form Bath and Body Works are great-- we used them as prizes at my sister's baby shower and everyone loved it Smiley smile

My shower was this past weeekend, and the prizes were- bottles of wine, little pier 1 picture frames, candles, high heel shoe bottle openers, girly tissues, pocket book hook, for like the end of the bar or table if your otr, and little keepsake boxes. My theme was pink & high heel shoes.

For my MOH's shower (getting married in July) I have "pamper baskets" filled with either manicure, pedicure or body type stuff. Doing 5 of them and about $20 each. Was thinking of doing favors too, but does anyone do those for a shower?

The prizes at my shower went with the theme. It was a shoe theme- "the perfect pair"- so the door prize was a $25 DSW gift card, the prizes for games were a high heeled shoe wine bottle holder and a high heeled shoe spoon rest, and the favors were high heeled shoe bottle openers. Everything seemed to be a big hit and there weren't any favors left behind.
