{updated} If you were a BM, what kind of robe would you want?

Angie, on October 31, 2014 at 2:17 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 27

I'm debating between ankle length and knee length! For getting ready.

What would you prefer?

I like knee length, I think it's a bit more girly and I'd be more likely to use it again.

Def. knee length. That way I would wear it again. I can't really see myself wearing a ankle length robe. Plus I think the knee length robes look so cute in pictures.

I guess I was curious because in my mind, ankle length is more modest for photos and maybe cozier? But I definitely would hate for it to be something they never wore again!

Thanks for the input ladies. (:

I would only wear a longer robe if it was a legit terry cloth bath robe. Knee length is still modest.

Angie-where are you getting your robes? I have the hardest time finding them at a decent price for my BM!

To me it totally depends on the fabric. Terry towel type material I would say long, silk or satin I would say short.

I would say knee length as well, more feminine and in my opinion, fits the fun feel you want for your wedding. The only reason I would say floor length would be if where you get ready is going to be cold. I see your wedding is in December but that shouldn't affect why you choose one or the other unless your BMs are going to be cold Smiley winking LOVE the idea, btw!

Knee length. I'd only want a long robe if it were like flannel or something super warm if I were freezing Smiley smile

I vote knee length. I only go with long to keep me warm at home.

Knee length! I think a full length satin robe would actually just get in the way while getting ready. And the girls can wear PJ pants under their robe too if they want more coverage.

Knee. I'm fairly short so the bride would probably have to get it altered for me unless trains are acceptable on robes.

Knee length. I would feel uncomfortable wearing a long robe around. It reminds me of something you wear after a bath, not while I get my hair and makeup done.
