std text - too much?

So on a Save The Date, it usually lists the couple's names, the wedding date to be saved, and the wedding location. In addition to "Save the Date", "Save our Date" or something along those lines. I also want to say something about a "formal invitation to follow", and to list the wedding website...

So on a Save The Date, it usually lists the couple's names, the wedding date to be saved, and the wedding location. In addition to "Save the Date", "Save our Date" or something along those lines.

I also want to say something about a "formal invitation to follow", and to list the wedding website because there is information about our hotel block on it.

Does this seem like too many words/too much text on a STD? The ones I've seen are usually pretty minimal. But I want to include these things on it and it sort of feels like too much? I'm probably overthinking it, but I also don't want to crowd up a pretty STD with too many words.

What have others done? Should I omit "formal invite to follow"? Is it implied?

I also did magnets and put formal invitation to follow. I wanted to give guest our wedding website as well, because its a destination wedding and our website has lots of helpful info, so I made a cute card stock slip to stick into the envelope as well with our website on it

Ah! And also saw a bunch of helpful posts already! But then you can commit invite to follow and put the wedding website in its place

We included all that info on our save the dates at the bottom in smaller font. I was considering omitting "formal invitation to follow" but my friend suggested I keep it. She didn't include it on their save the dates and people at their wedding who had never been to a wedding before were confused. They thought it was the invitation and they didn't understand why there wasn't any info on the venue, hotel, etc. Lots of people were calling and texting. Not everyone had been to a wedding before so I wouldn't assume everyone knows a formal invite will follow.

I put our date, names, location, formal invitation to follow, and our wedding website on ours. I don’t think it all depends on the style of the STD. Ours were magnets that looked like airplane tickets.

std text - too much? 3Below the date, it lists our city and then the wedding website. I'm pretty sure people know that a formal invites comes, so I didn't feel the need to put it on the STD
