The closed off part (which if it's bad weather or cold will probably be the whole thing) is quite boring, so suggestions on making it better would be great!

Another Publick House Bride ; )

June 19th - Ceremony will be outside in the gazebo, cocktails at the little red barn and reception inside. Spent this weekend there for our first on-site visit and to meet with coordinators. Even prettier venue in person and the food was amazing. Very glad we went with this venue!!

We are getting married at the New Englander Banquet Facility. There is an outdoor area for smokers or people who just need air lol. Pretty waterfall and pagoda for pictures too All of your venues are beautiful everyone!

@minD thats awesome :-) We are hoping to beable to get married at the gazeboo but being march it could be 80, freezing, or 2 ft of snow on the ground. when we first started looking I thought the publick house was going to be way out of our price range. I was shocked how much you get for such a good price.

Our top contender - Pasadena Museum of History

Leanna - we were pleasantly surprised with costs too. They have been great working with us to design a wedding package that accommodates our ideas and is flexible and very budget friendly. We were able to get a lot of extras that we never dreamed we'd be able to afford.

We checked out the gazebo and little red barn today, but yup snow on the ground. Thankfully we won't have that issue in June but we did need to make a Plan B in case it rains.

For this trip up we just stayed at the Lodge rooms and I was surprised at how nice the room we had was. Much bigger than I would have expected. I think next time, we'll try either a room at Chamberlin House or the Inn. We have rooms in each area blocked for our guests as everyone is traveling but now I have to decide which one to save for us ; )
