Show me your table numbers !

Lucy, on October 29, 2014 at 1:24 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 18

I don't know if I can't decide on table numbers because I can't figure out how to match them well with the centerpieces, or because I really haven't liked anything I've seen ! I've been searching etsy for about 6 hours now... (It's a reaaaaallly slow day at work today) and I haven't found anything that really caught my eye. So show me some pics of what you guys did ! Smiley smile

Here is what they will look like... right now they are just the #'s (unpainted). I glued them all together but haven't painted them yet!

Not the best pic in the world but our centerpiece will be something like pic number 1. Our escort card table sign is pic 2 (we will have candy bags with name/table# tags attached and pic 3 are the table numbers.

    The signs are all chalkboards.

The books might not be your thing obviously, but I did like how the picture frames worked out!

FH and I are sort of bird geeks, so I'm using birds from our backyard as table numbers. I've got pencil drawings of all the birds that I will be printing on card stock with the bird name. Then I'll be gluing them onto gray chip board (it's sort of banner shaped) and using the table number stands the venue provides.

I bought two of the small chalk board easels from Michaels to use for table numbers. (We only have two tables other than the head table)

I had the hardest time finding table numbers! I wanted something on a stick to put in the middle of my centerpieces. I finally found some on Etsy, and we are painting them silver (they will be stuck into a hurricane container filled with multi-colored Christmas balls).

Here are the ones we ordered: https://www.etsy.com/listing/156169270/1-20-unfinished-wood-wedding-table?ref=hp_mod_rf

The décor company I'm using has cute little blingy frames. They are $3.50 each to rent. He thought we could figure something else out after looking around he agreed we couldn't do frames for that much. I'm going to make escort cards, so I think I'm going to just make them to match. They will be out of paper in a triangle to stand up. I may go back to the frames as a backup, but we will see.

These are mine. Every number has a picture of FH and I at that age. I made them myself and had them printed locally.

We did table names instead of numbers. Tables were named for the virtues of the Bushido Code: Righteousness, Courage, Compassion, Respect, Honesty, Honor, Loyalty, and the bonus virtue of Wisdom (there are 7 virtues, but we had to add an 8th table so I used an associated value for #8).

    Colors were red and gold.

You can see our table numbers in this pic. We work in the race industry, so we took pictures of us wearing bib numbers all over the city, and then the place cards were also little bib numbers!
