I know thats the trouble I've been having but I want a small heel because I am clumsy in flats so heels can be a disaster! And I have had 4 ankle surgeries so somedays my ankle can handle a 5'' heel no problemo but sometimes I am lucky if I make it through the day in tennis shoes without faceplanting and I don't wanna take any risks

My problem is I'm already 5'10"/5'11" and my FH is same height when I'm barefoot/in flipflops so there's no way I want to wear 3"-5" heels and be over 6' and have him be shorter than me lol I'm trying to find cute flats so I don't have to worry about falling on my face at the reception while dancing.

Allison have you thought of getting boring cheapo shoes and DIY'ing them so that they are glittery? I have seen a few projects online on how to have your cheapo shoes look FAB for the wedding. I am probably going to do this because I am not going to spend tons of money on shoes and my FH and I are the same height as well (although much shorter than you and your FH!). I can only find pretty purple glittery shoes in 5 inch heels!

I got the Michelle Dyeable Quarter Strap Dress Sandal in platinum.

I went to the store, picked a style I liked and tried them on to make sure I got the right size. They showed me the book of colors to choose from and I picked one and they took down all the info and I paid for them and they said it would take about 2 weeks for the shoes to come in.

It took exactly that amount of time and they called me and I went back with my receipt and they showed me the shoes to make sure it was what I wanted and I was on my way lol.
