I have 10 days to go!! I’m excited when I see that number but at the same time it is hard to believe that its actually getting so close! With that being said….I just now realized I have not gotten anything to sit our cake on!!!! =/ We are using Birchwood vases for the centerpieces and thought it would be nice to tie that into the cake stand as well. But I don’t think I could get one ordered from Etsy in time to be here…I would be a nervous wreck waiting on it. Where did you get your cake stand from??

You could do a simple crystal cake stand and then decorate the stem with a ribbon in your color or even wrap it in birch bark! Here is what mine looks like - I bought it at Michael's.

Hey Whitney, my floral vendor supplied our cake stand for us. It was covered with swarvoski crystals. I LOVED it. U should still have time to order from etsy. Just put a rush on the shipping. Good Luck.

Yay, you're so close!

We didn't have a cake stand. Our baker just set up the cake on a simple board that kinda disappeared and our florist scattered rose petals around it. Super easy and zero stress on my part.

Michelle your cake is so beautiful and that cake stand is amazing!

We got a cake stand from Sarah's Stands. 14" dark chocolate that we ordered a week before the wedding, got it in three days. Looked great at the wedding and now it sits on my kitchen counter.

My friends and I actually purchased our wedding cake stands from a woman who makes beautiful cake stands with removable cake skirts. You can buy the stand kit I think it's called and it comes with a stand, a cake skirt and matching flower and ribbon for only $65!!! She has a good selection of fabric skirts and crystal ones too. The best thing about this cake stand is you can change the skirt over and over to match every event! This is the stand I purchased. Check her out on cakedress.com!
