question about a different kind of wedding....

Zombie bridesmaids. (And hey, if you have people with old bridesmaids dresses they don't care too much about... they can trash 'em for your haunted house!) Angelic, but creepy, little flower girl and ring bearer (creepy little children who growl at you and follow you around are very effective... one even told my FH "you smell like boooooze"). Dead flowers. Scary looking priest/minister/officiant... with crazy hair... and a chainsaw. Creepy groomsmen with big rats or something. Inbred looking guests. Wicked scary father of the bride dragging her up to the altar. Torture chamber-ish altar. I dunno. It sounds like fun though. I love haunted houses!

Ooh... more ideas...

A nasty looking cake somewhere.... make it squiggle or have something creepy jump out of it as people walk by. Just make all aspects of a regular wedding creepy... creepy dance music somewhere... at the start, make some sort of wedding invitation-like sign "inviting" the people to join you for frankenstein's impending nuptials... if they dare (or something not so cheesy... but you get the idea).

You could have "ushers" wandering around with bloody axes. Stuff like that. I don't think it would be too difficult to mush wedding and creepy/scary/haunted together.

Maybe somewhere in the maze you could have a "buffet table" where kids stick their hands in the hole and there's peeled grapes (eyeballs), cold spaghetti (worms), gelatin with gummi bears (brains), stuff like that. Then just label it wedding style, chicken or beef... or something. If you can have that kind of interactive stuff. Sounds super fun.

How about having someone from the waitstaff take off a dish cover (or have a bunch do it at the same time) to reveal severed heads? You could have those be real people, too, and cut out holes in a table and have them "wake up" once they're revealed. I'm personally terrified of haunted houses because of an experience when I was little, and this image was the kicker for me. Or have them go through the "kitchen" and have big nasty instruments up and someone cutting up something that looks vaguely human, you know the drill. Maybe have a super creepy groom actually stealing the bride, like throw her over his shoulder, and have her scream bloody murder.
