Priest gift?

Hey ladies, our officiant is a college friend of mine who was ordained last year as a Catholic priest. In addition to his stipend, I'd like to give him something nice as a thank-you. I think we'll be the first friends he officiates for. Any ideas?

Several websites recommended doing a charitable donation... thinking about a book, since both FH and I are very booky people... FH used to live in the city where his congregation is so we could do a restaurant gift certificate...

Priests are supposed to hand in any money they receive to the church but a gift card is a perfect solution! I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
