October Brides....does it seem like time is flying by?

I am kind of in a lull too. Probably going to work a little on the hotel but got nothing to do until April really. It still feels so far but the weeks keep flying by. I do need veil though.....

@ Allison-when I think about it in months it does seem far away...when I see 200 days it seems a little more real, and when I see a week slip by like this one does....it freaks me out.

David's Bridal has veils on sale right now-I got an email about that earlier.

Yes! We're paying the deposit on the reception restaurant tomorrow. Getting engagement pics done hopefully next weekend. Talking to DJs this week too. :-) after that, I'm on chill mode for a while. Nope, I still have to find invitations I like and can print at home! Ugh!!! LoL and I'm so busy with home life too, it's all overwhelming right now but I know it'll calm down soon so I'm staying positive! :-)

I'm also in a lull. No alterations till summer, tux rentals in summer. Judy focusing on getting vendors paid off. We have pre cana at the end of April

Same here! BIG lull. For me, I have to wait til I get to the States this summer to do a ton. Plus I'll be finished with my masters then and have free brain cells, lol.

Fh and I got so much done early that now I'm bored because there's nothing really to do. We ordered or favors the other day (I can't wait to see how they came out). And all we have left to do is the invitations, tuxes and get the license.

I reached under 200 days this week which was like- woah! But I am in the same boat, planing some DIY stuff this summer for the cards, centerpieces etc. but in a lull now! Just saving $ mode!

I totally feel like time is flying by! I am getting married out of state in my hometown and I think that makes it go by even quicker lol. I got my dress last month (long story) and am already planning another trip down in may for initial alterations. Then I know I have to go down again in August for another appt. I have pretty much everything taken care of, its just small details now, like finding centerpiece stuff. I panicked when I realized I am only going to FL (wedding site) 2 more times before the wedding. It doesn't seem like enough time, even though it is. Yikes!

Totally right there with you ladies, days are just flying by!!!! @ Monica so exciting to be planting your garden that is what i was doing this time last year.

I have 195 days left and have nothing really to do. Next month is food and cake tasting. We will also be giving our venue more money and we will be almost done paying the venue off. I have to drop off my swatches with my florist. I Just updated my website with hotel info for my guest. I updated our guest list on WW and realized we have invited more than we wanted. FH will kill me when he realizes this lol. And just saving money now. Summer for alterations for my dress. Working on centerpieces in the summer. Just focusing on moving now. We are under contract right now and hopefully will be moving in May for FH and June for me to move into the house.

I can relate, I did so much in the beginning and how it's the waiting game. I can't believe in a few weeks it will be at the 6 month mark!! It seemed like it was dragging before but now it's flying. We are waiting to book our HM with our travel agent And DIY stuff will be done sponge the weather improves. Hurry up October! I'm so ready to be married

Not me...so much to do. I'm waiting for the lull. Finish invites, ribbon wands, Mr/Mrs wood pieces, embellish my veil I ordered. Bouquets, bouts, I bought fake pumpkins to decorate last fall. If I go with silks, do those. Make cake stands out of tall candlesticks. Make flower stands for ceremony.

The song "under pressure" by Queen pops into my head. I don't know how it's going to be April soon!!!!!

No lull for us! Tons of DIY projects to get done. I still have to finish my brooch bouquet, loose at least 20 pounds, finish invitations, centerpieces, table numbers, i have my hair trial and a second makeup trial next Saturday and much, much more HOWEVER yes, time is definitely flying by!

Time is definitely going quickly. I just ordered the invitations just so can have a project for next weekend. Trying to finalize all the little details and then spend the summer doing projects.

For me, it seems like time is CRAWLING by!

I don't get to choose my options for my ceremony or reception (all done together because it's a destination wedding) until MAY.

So I can't order invited yet because i don't have the times for anything.

And I can't order the welcome bags I want to give people or the stuff to put in them because i don't know how many people are coming!

I'm going crazy waiting for all this info!
