NWR: What is your pet peeve?

I'm with you on nail biters and open mouth chewers. Yuck!

I hate when people can't keep a constant speed on the interstate so like, I'll pass them, then they pass me, and repeat. It annoys the HELL out of me

@JPL The consistent slowing also causes unnecessary traffic!!

People who act helpless and /or entitled

Totally agree with teeth on forks and open mouth chewers!! I also don't like when people pick their nails (even though I'm guilty of doing thay, I just do it in my house, not in public!)

I have to try my hardest to remember that I love FH when I hear him eat. He hums and smacks at the same damn time and it makes me want to slap his plate off the table.

People who when they find out how much I hate the word "moist" they make it a point to say it as many times as possible in as little time as possible.

People who pull out in front of me causing me to slam on my brakes, then drive super slow.

Whistling

People who don't use blinkers

Whiskers on the bathroom sink

@Keri my FH makes that weird smack sound with his mouth opened and closed. I do the same thing! Sometimes though I have to get up and walk out of the room.

@Deb the phone thing! I hate when people are on their phones when I hang out with them. TBH I purposefully 'oops forgot my phone at home' all the time.

Repetitive noises like ticking on a clock. I've been known to smash them in a fit of rage in the middle of the night. Whoops.

People who walk slowly drive me insane!!! But also just about all of the above.

Slow walkers on the sidewalk, crying babies, people who don't put their bags on the floor on public transportation during rush hour, body odor,

Loud chewing. People who snap their gum! Stop it!

-When something is taken out and not put back exactly how they found it (normally thrown back)

-People that don't know where they're going on the road, cut you off/turn into your lane without looking (happens ALL the time)

-Parking in the middle of the road to pay for parking and there's people behind trying to pass...I wana drive right into these people when they do this, especially when there's a open parking stall a few feet away.

-People that tail you when driving (I break check when it gets bad), people that cut you off then flick you off when driving.

-FH's smacking lips and making that ynum ynum sound (he does this on purpose because he knows its annoys me)

-Grinning teeth when sleeping (our two year old does this a lot...its so painful to the ears!)

People who see you walking in a hurry and they cut you off and walk right in front of you going super slow! I also hate when people walk right in the middle of a narrow walkway super slow or just stop. Another one is when forks scrape your plate of seat baby Jesus I hate that! FH hates hearing other people brush their teeth. ETA* words

OOh and I forgot...walking behind someone walking really slow, then all of a sudden they stop. Right when you decide to walk around, they start walking slowly again. OMG Drives me insane!

People who don't reply when I say hello or good morning. People who put their purse or backpack on a bus seat, instead of letting someone sit there.

Ew I hate loud chewers or impolite table manners in general.

I hate slow walking people or people that just take up the whole sidewalk or block an entire door, and have zero concept of space. Drives me fucking nuts.

@JPB I hate the slow walkers who stop all of a sudden, too. I used to work at an amusement park so I became good at navigating crowds of slow walkers there, but if I did that in shopping malls, etc. I think people would think I'm rude and/or insane.

I also hate when cars "double park" in the street...right next to an empty parking space! So annoying!

People who will not clean up after themselves. Especially at work. I'm not paid to be your momma.

ETA: Another pet peeve, and it's a rather gross one... At work, just outside of my office (but still in my "work area"), is a bathroom that is used by numerous other coworkers. I also use that restroom frequently. I cannot tell you how many times I've walked in there to find floaters in the toilet or pee on the floor. We're grown-ass adults here. Learn to take care of your bathroom issues!
