Pet peeve of mine too, this is cold for us! FH lived in Chicago for a while so he thinks cold is when it's below zero, cold to me is 50 and below lol.

I'm from Texas, I know what hot is, lol. I now live in Upstate NY and I know what cold is. We have several inches of snow currently and we had a windchill in the negatives when I left work last night. Can you say freezing rain??

I love Florida! Now that's some crazy humidity I have felt to date. More so in Key West. Insane! but I loved it.

Maybe because I was born on an island or because of my brown made to be in the sun skin and hair, but I'll take a Florida summer over the 3 weeks or so of "real" winter we get.

I live in Southern California & it IS cold! D. is right! You can't tell me how *I* feel! I hate that so many people need a pissing contest in life ..sheesh! Let me be cold at 50 degrees & I'll let you be cold at -10 ;]

Those news stories make us look like babies. "The wind is blowing my hair! And the leaves! Look at the crops on the ground!" No wonder the rest of the country is laughing at us. Its cold, but it's not worth interviewing people over.

I live in CA. Yeah its cold, but I don't need everyone telling me how cold it is all day long....just like in the summer "oh, its so hot!" "wow can you believe how hot it is"
