Jessica, on June 10, 2010 at 2:57 PM Posted in Planning 0 21

I have used a large chunk of my budget on food and drink and my dress all totaling up to about 8,000 of my 12,000 budget. I have found my centerpieces for cheap, but i need cheap crystal garland, paper cones for pews, dried lavender or cool funky sticks or something, placecard holders, bouquet jewelry, etc etc. lol sorry its alot...im just looking for websites i havent heard of, because the sites i have found that have "cheap" items, really arent all that cheap haha thanks guys

You can also try your local craigslist. There are some people who try to sell their stuff there after the wedding. Good luck!

I've got some Swarovski drops. Some are heart shaped and have a crystal in the middle. They are just the drops, kinda like charms though since I make jewelry I have all kinds of findings. They can be put on a chain and wrapped around the stems so that it hangs down.

Go raid your g'ma's jewelry box! Or try thrift shops & consignment shops for sparkly costume jewelry.

This maybe really crazy but try looking for local flea markets in your area...I have been told that new stuff but over produced from manufacturer also end up there....you might need to spray it or embellish stuff...just a suggestion!

My mom bought 9" x 12" Canson or Strathmore paper from the artist's aisle in Michael's (spiral bound at the top) and cut 4" x 4" squares for the place cards. After printing them, she folded them in half to make a tent. Each pad was $6.99 and she used a 50% off coupon. I don't think you can find them any less expensive than that!

Try us and recommend your friends! The Eclectic Frog is a Resale shop in Conroe and we have tons of wedding craft items, since we carry overstock wedding gowns from bridal stores we get invited to all the bridal events where we meet vendors and brides looking to unload bridal items they didn't use or maybe gently used. You can find great wedding items for a fraction of their retail value.
