My wedding band came in!

Just curious. But why don't you want to wear your engagement ring? Is it better for work or something like that? Or just preferance?

My e-ring is my great grandmas and I love it but it’s got a high profile. I’m a CSM at a grocery store and I’m constantly picking up heavy things and bagging and my ring has ripped more than a few bags. It also has an unusual shape and would require a custom band.

Its very common to not wear your e ring .. i would say out of 4 married friends .. 3 only wear bands .. my e ring was expensove and custom .. so i got a custom band to match .. it was not cheap though my wedding bands its a ring gaurd 1ct tw is costing $2500 .. a similar band which we took the design from was .75 ct and 1600 .. so almost 1k more to have it made and fit to my ring .. i am having better quality stones and a higher ct though

I personally don't understand having an engagement ring and not wearing it, but I'm a believer in wearing the jewelry you own- why let it sit in a box? You could always put it on after work.

I got contour bands to fit my engagement ring.

I never even knew some people wore their engagement rings after marriage until recently
