MOG Dress - Promblem - Freaking Out

mallory, on March 16, 2014 at 9:17 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Okay so I love my FMIL so much and we are super close. When we went to the dress shop where myself, my mom, and my girls got our dresses along with the guys ordered their tux from she looked a bit but kinda just pushed the place aside and said she would look later. Well here we are under 50 days and she still doesn't have anything to wear. Plus I went with her yesterday shopping and we didn't find anything. We checked Dillard's formal section, macys, David's bridal and two other places....nothing. I could tell she's starting to worry but not admitting to it to keep me less stress (which I appreciate) but she made the comment of how she regrets not giving the dress shop a shot because everything she did like would have to be ordered and we don't have that time anymore. Idk what to do...

I'm 76 days out and neither mother has a dress yet. I get worried some but I keep in my head that they are adults and they can worry about it themselves, I have too much else to do lol

It would cost more but I would think if you ask you would have the option for a rush order.

I'm 20 days out and my own mother just found a dress yesterday. Don't worry, she will find something. Plus retailers will start putting out more spring dresses soon.

Don't worry she will find something. You still have enough time for her to order from some stores I would think. Department stores don't usually take too long if she orders just "off the rack".

I am SIX days out and my mother hasn't found anything to wear. We went shopping yesterday and found a few nice dresses but she didn't like any of them.

It's going to be fine Smiley smile Neither my mother nor my future mother in law have dresses. My dad doesn't have his suit, my FSIL doesn't have her dress (she is doing a reading in the wedding), and I don't think my brother has even put two and two together and remembered that he needs a suit.

They still have time, promise. Nothing to worry about yet.

I'm 19 days out and my MOM doesn't even have her dress yet. I prepared myself for this, I know she will get one, just like your FMIL will. There are so many places she can find one, maybe suggest taking her out shopping? It will be fine!

Yes, I'm sure it will be fine. Some people need to just go on their own-- I really can't shop with other people b/c its stressful to me-- she may be the same way.

See if she is interested in renting one from rent the runway. They are super quick and affordable, plus offer more fashionable choices IMO.
