@theD I mean, I feel like my Monday would perk up with a little Easy D gratuitous boob... just sayin'.

Gonna check Ulta and CVS tonight for some new Liquid Suede. Need to give it another try for sure.

I honestly want to try Lipsense, but I don't want to open the door to anyone pushing their MLM on me. Womp womp.

I can't be bothered with such things- I feel like I can't even get a good idea of what they sell because you have to know someone.

    hard pass.

Try DNA cosmetics on etsy- local shop here in NJ- they make great products.

Oooh I would love to start ordering more through Etsy!

I had a great XP with lingerie lipsticks, I got the advent calendar and posted a look everyday. Loved all but like 3 of them I got in there. Some were a bit drying though.

I have two Kylie kits and I find they don't stay on my inner lip as well as other brands. But they do feel really good.

Tried out the new Milani make it last spray and omgggggggggggg I love it I used a lot of powder today and the spray just melted it right into my skin. I've also been loving the essence pure nude highlighter its amazing, but lately ive been using it on a big fluffy brush all over my face and its made my face look so healthy and glowy.

For everyone who uses the TF Born this way, how do you apply it? I have it and I'm not in love with it.

Well. I just ordered three lip sets. One liquid suede, one soft matte lip cream, and one intense butter gloss. You guys are terrible influences and I love it.

So, I haven't bought anything recently. I had a colourpop bronzer, and it was wayyy too light/looked like weird dirt on my cheek so I really would NEVER recommend that. I've gone back to a Lorac travel one I once bought off amazon for 8 bucks and it is seriously a dream. If anyone needs a travel sized bronzer, GET IT.

Also, I want this so badly: It's limited edition from Tarte and those colors are my dream everyday look. But, I don't know if I necessarily NEED it. Thoughts?

@Swin I have a Tarte palette (The Tarteist Pro To Go) from the lare bishes from our Elfster exchange, and I LOVE it. The colors are super saturated and it goes on really easy. Plus I don't end up with shimmer all over my face. So I say do it up.

I can't remember who posted last week about setting eye makeup primer with a translucent powder, but that was a TOTAL game changer. Thanks!!!

Oh Flighty! I have the tarte tease right now. I originally bought it as something to travel with but I actually just love it and use it all the time. So... I mean, I think I SHOULD go for it.

Since we're on the topic of lips, I owe you all a review of Lipsense. Pics will be in subsequent comments.

I got the Sheer Berry color. The color is GORGEOUS. No complaints about that. It's a bit darker than I was used to, so I started out with just one coat.

A note about application: As most of you know, the Lipsense kit is $55 and comes with a color, which you theoretically only have to apply once at the beginning of the day. You keep your lips hydrated with a "glossy gloss" that you re-apply as needed. Your kit also contains an "oops remover" in case you make any mistakes while applying.

When applying the color, I was surprised by a strong smell of rubbing alcohol. I guess that's the smell of the formula that makes the color bond to your lips. It also burned a little right after I applied it. Not so badly that I had to take it off, but I definitely wasn't ready for it.

Once the color dries (which doesn't take long), you're supposed to apply the glossy gloss. The glossy gloss, to me, is the wow factor of this lip kit. It looks so beautiful and dewy, and it feels amazing on your lips. It provides such a lovely shine, and it really does a nice job of hydrating and soothing. And it soaks in nicely after a few minutes, if you prefer a matte color.

With only one coat of the color, I was dismayed to see it fading off by lunch time! Like, WTF? But, I was told that I was really supposed to apply three coats of the color to get it to last all day. Well, OK. So I applied a few more coats of the color. It did look much better. I still saw some fading/cracking on the inner lip (toward my teeth, if that makes sense) as the hours wore on. Up close, I could see it coming off on my inner lip. But from afar, the overall effect was still nice.

I've now had my Lipsense kit for a few weeks. I've barely made a dent in the color, but my glossy gloss is almost 2/3 gone. It's frustrating that I'd have to replace my glossy gloss more often than my color, but I suppose one could anticipate that. The gloss alone seems pricey for what it is, so I'd like to experiment with cheaper alternatives that I could pair with the Lipsense color.

Would I buy it again? I'm curious about a few other colors, but I'm pretty lukewarm about the product overall. So, maybe.

TL, DR: The color is pretty, but not as long-lasting as promised unless you apply multiple coats. The gloss is amazing, but you'll use it up quickly.

@Flighty, my pleasure! I'm willing to chalk up some of my issues to a user error, haha. So I'd definitely love to hear if others agree with my critiques.
