KWR: Let's See What Makes You Happy!

Chicken and dumplings! I haven't been feeling well and my FSIL made us supper and invited us over...yum!

Hurm... I am trying super hard to get back into the swing of planning after a long long break from here and planning in general.

What makes me happy today is thinking about the music at our wedding. We are going to have some amazing bands and I can't wait to rock out to all of them!

Wedding panning is about the only thing keeping me happy these days. FH has been dealing with some pretty serious health concerns, and every doctor is telling him there's nothing that can be done (he's got psoriatic arthritis and his jaw is messed up from getting his wisdom teeth out, but neither issue is being treated effectively) . It's incredibly frustrating and difficult. Planning a wedding is a great escape because it reminds me of something amazing that's happening, when everything else feels really sucky.

More specifically I'm excited to finish up invitations, and get a few things in the mail that I'm waiting for.

Andi - that's a really cute cake topper. Positive - I've received some really sweet emails from FH's family this week, and one from my cousin.

My life is lots of good (even though I am sick and I have a ton of work to do and lot of wedding planning to get done).

I just got back from a trip to CA and 2 days in Sonoma...doing wine tastings in hot weather with beautiful views (after living a summer in cool temps it was wonderful!). Coming back to our doggie whom I was missing was also happy making.

I had my Bach party and Bridal Shower (shower #2) this past weekend...it was so awesome to be around my best friends from HS and beyond that I just adore and get to celebrate this with them. I also got to eat at one of my favorite places in the world-Travail-totally a fun can't stop smiling adventure! Plus if you haven't ever played Telestrations I highly recommend it.

I also found baskets for my centerpiece, and smaller old school jars to put my tea lights in so that was awesome as I have been shopping around a lot.

With the sickness going on coming home to some soup is also going to make me very happy.

I have a DJ!!

Fishing trip with FH, best man and his girl. I cannot wait, a lil R 'n' R is longgggg over due!!!

I finally got the music figured out for the ceremony and i am so happy with it!!! now i just have to pick the first dance song!

My pup Maddie makes me happy. She had a seizure last Wednesday and has been recuperating. I have never been more scared in my life, and I am so thankful to have her. She brings me so much joy.

My doooggggggg!!!!!! She makes me happy EVERY day. As soon as I walk in the door, her excitement at seeing me washes away anything bad

As for me, well my cat makes me happy when I get home. She always runs (like full on RUNS) over to jump up on my lap when I get home from work. Also, we had friends over for dinner tonight and it was really fun (first time I've ever invited people over and cooked for them and it turned out tasting good - lol!).

It's just not in me to be happy or excited lol.

Wedding related, I've been twiddling my thumbs. I guess a good thing is that I'm only mildly vexed that my planner is on vacation.

I'm excited that I almost have my last vendor booked!

I'm excited about Scandal, tomorrow night.

Okay, I'm kidding. I'm super excited about this new crock pot recipe I have going at home while I'm at work.

Damn, I'm married, aren't I?

My dog! He's the best and I wish I could post a pic. Hardest part about having a DW, is that we are going to have to leave him for a week.

Finally getting to spend some downtime with my fh before my shows start back up....gears of war...and my new additions to my tattoos
