Just got Home from Dinner with FH. He said the Funniest thing tonight....

My Husband Owns Tons of Wife Beaters!!! It was funny to me....Why do you think that they call it that anyway?

We don't condone Wife beating too!

I don't know, that was his next question. we were chatting it up with the manager who was from tennesee and he gave us his two cents. he figured it started in a region where the men that were actually wife beaters always seemed to wear white tank shirts. And it just sorta stuck.

Because we're hosting our family dinner for the wedding weekend here, the staff there sorta knows us. So they totally got it.

Hehehehee- bodymagic, your husband owns a ton. maybe Ill throw a pack of wife-beaters in his Groom gift bag as a joke. you know, heheehe scandalous..

I was always told that it's because the tank tops show off the muscles you get from beating your wife.

That would be funny! LOL He would totally love it for he strives on Pranks....He will be 42 on Friday (woohooo) and acts like our youngest daughter....In matter of fact, I think that I will throw a pack of WB in his B-day gift bag and attach a note to say "BEAT ME" HAHAHA He would love that!

Oh my FH, he's cute. he's got a great sense of humor and really good comedic timing. That is one of the things I love about him.

That is one of the best things that I cherish in my relationship..the sensor-humor. We have been married for 11 years now and I must honestly say that if it wasn't for the sensor-humor we would have gone crazy by now! LOL

Yeah, that yahoo board was a little much...but it all boiled down to what we were thinking too...

@Body Magic--- My FH owns a ton too! He wears one every day.. under his shirt.. he's like a woman (well, me anyways) who has to wear a tank top under EVERYTHING.. We've never had the convo about why they are called "wife beaters".. Honestly, I thought they were called "white beaters"

LOL! Too funny! My husband wears one everyday too! I guess its a form of them staying fresh...If they sweat during the day, the "wife beater" will help them stay dry..uhmmm I'm going to investigate that??
