it is too early for this =[ [please note *TMI*]

Spike, on July 27, 2012 at 10:42 PM Posted in Married Life 0 19

Ok so me and DH have been married nearly 2 weeks, and we have only used condoms maybe 3 times...

and he did ejaculate a little 'on' me last week. allday today I have been SO nauseated! and it feels like there are butterflies in my stomach. and I usually LOVE mustard...I walked into a restaurant tonight and it's like that smell of mustard slapped me in the face! it just turned my stomach. I've been tired allday and wanting to go to bed, I had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen last night that maybe lasted for 2 min. I'm having dizziness spells and my mouth is extremely watery.

although I want a baby...BAD. please don't tell me i'm pregnant. =\

Hmm.. your mind might be playing tricks on you. But a pregnancy test will always help confirm! Best of luck!

Well, where there is smoke there is fire.

But don't get upset, take a breathe and get a test tomorrow and then you will know.

It could be in your head so until you can take a test don't think about it a whole lot.

Just keep in mind that sometimes taking a test too early can result in an inaccurate reading. So, if you do not want to waste your time, I would wait a week or more, this way you are sure. Or, if you really want to know, go to the doctor for a blood test. Good luck, and take a deep breath!

Maybe you have a flu bug. I've had several friends sick with a flu bug lately. Mostly just tired and nauseas.

Are you PMSing? Could it be a coincidental flu and combo PMS issues?

Are you late? I've never been pregnant so I don't know how soon symptoms are supposed to start. If you are late, then I think it is safe to take a test, if you are not, don't think about it too much because your own nervousness will make you late and make you think you are the big P! =)

    Good luck!

Well, everyone is different when it comes to symptoms and stuff. I know that when I was pregnant, I didn't even realize it til I missed my period. I took a test, it was positive, and I still felt totally normal for like 3 more weeks. I didn't start morning sickness until around my 6th week, and fatigue and sensitivity to smells didn't start until my second trimester. Its possible those symptoms could be explained by another cause. I would say stay calm and wait for your period. See what happens. And for what its worth, I felt totally unprepared/ not ready for a child when FH and I got pregnant and everything works out, totally the best thing that has happened to me!

Way to early to be showing signs of pregnancy. (Im assuming you were using some form of birth control before). You probably have a minor stomach bug, or your hormones are a bit off because of normal monthly changes. That can affect your sense of smell.

I would think its mind over matter...you typically will not see signs of pregnancy for at least 2 weeks after unprotected sex, usually closer to 4 weeks. Just going to have to wait it out and test Smiley smile

Believe it or not your mind could be playing tricks on you if you believe it then it can make your body behave as if you were pregnant. If you've taking the test and it's negative but if you still feel this way go to the OBGYN just to be 100% sure, that's your best bet.

I would imagine that it's too early for symptoms, and definitely too early to tell (pregnancy test I don't think would pick it up yet)...if it's only been two weeks.

When you miss your period, that's when you know. Honestly, those "symptoms" don't usually show up (I'm 3 weeks pg and I don't even have all of those symptoms- it usually takes at least 2 weeks from conception)

I'd say your mind is playing tricks or you're ovulating, which can have similar side effects.. but honestly, unless you test positive, there's no way we can tell you you're pregnant.

Take a test and if you still have these symptoms or they get worse, test again or maybe go see a doctor in case it's something else that needs medical attention.

If you aren't going to be using protection or using BCP, I highly recommend you do a little research on your fertility cycle so you can be aware how to avoid (or not) pregnancy.. that way you don't have to keep playing the "am I pregnant?" game each month Smiley smile
