Thanks! I have not been to a wedding where they has been an ice cream bar either! I just thought it would be a neat spin and maybe surprise some guest along with FH!

My FH also loves ice cream, so we are getting an ice cream wedding cake. It was one of the few things my FH asked to be included in our wedding, so couldn't say no. It's being done by the local Marble Slab. Can't wait to eat it.

MyLo and I went to a wedding earlier this year that had ice cream. There was scooped and soft serve. There was vanilla, strawberry and chocolate (scooped and soft serve) with everything topping imaginable. It was a HUGE HIT!

I haven't been to a wedding with ice cream as the groom's cake but I went to a wedding where the bride had a cupcake truck as the groom's cake. It's a fun take on the "traditional" groom's cake. I had a french macaron table as the groom's cake.

We had an ice cream bar. I loved it! A lot of people also told me how fun they thought it was.

Every wedding i have been to has had one as included in the ventian hour and the ice cream went before all the cakes/pastries did...its always a hit

My MOH's wedding had an ice cream bar- everyone loved it, it was awesome! Their ice cream started to melt really fast though :/

Thanks ladies! I think it will be a hit and who doesn't love ice cream and cake?? and yes I think I will just keep it to the simple tastes like chocolate and vanilla! I'm pretty excited about this
