So, I went dress shopping a month or so ago. We hit up two shops, went for lunch (where I had a couple of martinis and a shot) and then to our last shop where I found my dress. So, I went dress shopping a month or so ago. We hit up two shops, went for lunch (where I had a couple of martinis and a shot) and then to our last shop where I found my dress. The dresses at the last shop were 100x better quality then the first 2 shops. I showed the attendant what I was looking for and she brought me a dress that was even more breath taking then the one I clipped online! I tried it on, and instantly loved it!!! I came out in it, everyone adores it. I went to try on another and didn't even want to. Put that first dress back on and knew it was meant for me! Dias yes to it with out hesitating! But, ordered it in a different color and skirt material. At the moment, the cleavage wasn't a concern. I'm thinking the booze had something to do with that :/ Now that I look at it, I'm super worried it's too revealing!!!! And have paid more then half on it. So, there's no going back as it's a $2000 dress! Ugh! Tipsy Amanda has no inhibitions. Sober Amanda, not so much Smiley sad

I am pretty busty ( 32DDD) and I wore pretty modest dresses on my wedding day which is something my husband, but that said, he is very old school, but that is how I was most comfortable. As a busty girl, if I wear a low cut top, all eyes go there automatically and I didn't want to have to worry about that on my wedding day. I would rather wear something low cut to a birthday, new years or etc party. if you are comfortable with a lower cut top, go for it, its all about what you are comfortable in. Also yes, the picture Vanessa posted is the extreme, that is TOO low cut for anyone unless you want to look trashy...

    I think it's ok.

But if you are worried you can get a simple alteration done to it where they add a little bit of fabric so that it's not so low cut. When I bought my dress the lady said that was an option, but I didn't need it for mine. So you can keep the dress you love and have it not so low.

I am having this issue too. I am hoping to lose a little weight and that will help make my boobs a little smaller.

The booze... Ha ha. You'll be fine. But look out when you dance! Strapless dresses are so pretty but NOT practical unless you're flat and you're not. Beautiful dress.

I like the dress, but for me, it is showing too much. If this wasn't your exact size though it will fit differently. When they do alterations they might be able to pull it up a little bit. THe last thing you want is to be worrying about your dress when you are out dancing.

I don't think it is too low, especially since the sides of the cups do go up higher. Once you get the dress, if you are still not comfortable, ask the seamstress what they recommend. You look fabulous though!

I think it looks very pretty! Once your dress comes in and it's fitted to you you probably won't see as much cleavage. Like others have mentioned, you can always gave fabric sewn in to cover up a little more if you wanted. Also, I think "too much" depends on you and your ceremony. Is it in a church or other place of worship? I know my church handed informed us to keep in mind the building and what it represents when picking out dresses. As long as you feel comfortable and it's not against any "dress code", go for it!

I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you are comfortable. Mine is lower than I expected it to be. Seamstresses are magical. I would image they can adjust your bodice so less is showing if that's what you prefer. Here is my dress at the final fitting.

I don't think it's too low- but it's all about your comfort level. Wait for the fitting of you actual dress and then decide if it's too low. Gorgeous dress!

I dont think it's too low, and I can almost guarantee that my husband won't think it's too low. he didn't think mine was low enough!

I think it's fine, but if it makes you uncomfortable, then see what can be done.

I think you made a excellent choice on the dress! Smiley smile

Thank you all! Completely alleviated my dress regret and those super skanky bride pics were awesome! Vanessa, your dress looked amazingly beautiful! LOVE that shot! I'm not going to worry about it anymore and patiently wait to deal with it when my dress in my size comes in! Thanks again for all your help ladies!!

I asked my hubby what he thought, and he thought the neckline was fine - he said you make a very pretty bride, and you picked the right dress Smiley smile

All I saw was boobs in your picture - sorry my dear but it is true. I am NOT saying it is too revealing - just my eyes went immediately there and I think most people's eyes would.

Yep, one person's take on too low can be very much different to the next. I like showing my cleavage but to me the wedding dress does look a little too boobylicious. Hate to day this if they do something to the dress it will cost a shit ton since there is so much beading work they would need to do to make it look like it was made to be higher. If your too worried maybe find some tape and tape those girls down.

I don't think its too much but if it makes you uncomfortable, I agree with adding some fabric

You would have to decide if you were comfortable or not. I feel your pain. I took back the dress I bought for my reception b/c it showed too much cleavage. I loved that dress, but just couldn't.

It's gorgeous! Order it a size too big so you have room for alterations. You'll be fine. I absolutely love, love, love that dress. You can make it work. I'm sure of that.
