How did you “propose” to your wedding party?

I just mailed decorated cards. I wanted to do more but it wasn’t really an option.

We both sent boxes. Mine were jewelry boxes I painted & personalized, then had nail polish, hair bands and a liquor shooter (all the same colors as our wedding). My fiance's had whiskey & a personalized coke bottle. It really got us both in the spirit of wedding planning, and it was super fun getting all the calls & pictures from our wedding party when they received them!

I called them up and asked them.

I asked all of my bridesmaids at our engagement party with a small gift box. My gift box included a tshirt, a bottle of wine, a ring dish personalized for each, and a compact mirror. H asked his guys at the same party with a bottle of whiskey and a cigar for each.

Maid of honor proposal box and best mans bottle of liquor.

I’m not even sure I actually asked my MOH. I think we both just assumed. My one BM I called and asked.

These were my bridesmaid proposals. I had 3 sugar cookies a mini wine bottle and some lotion together with details of the wedding. For the guy I didn’t take a picture but We have them a can of pop a small alcoholic bottle and a card inside (didn’t take a picture😩) I made all of these myself (minus the cookies) the boxes cost me about $10 each and the bags around $7 it wasn’t bad.

I didn't take photos ! I should of but my fiance's Best Man got a wooden treasure chest with a lock at Michaels 5 bucks and we filled it with black paper confetti shreds and his name in black stickers on the front and inside we ordered a best man invite from zazzle and filled it with a cigar, tree friendly cigar as well, and 3 shot bottles 1 coniac 1 whiskey and 1 tequila do not remember which ones and put a shot glass in there as well. so he had 3 shots and 2 cigars to enjoy. The groomsmen will receive the same thing but there boxes will not be wooden and have a different invite in their box. Same with my MOH she has a wooden box as well with pink paper confetti shreds and pink black lettering on top of the treasure box. Inside she has an ELF lipstick from target, 1 ring pop candy, 1 lotion from bath and body works and a small bottle of champagne with her own individualized invite. the other bridesmaids will have the same but not the wooden box.

I wrote them each a personalized card, included their favorite candy, a bottle of nail polish and for the ones 21+ I included a shooter of their favorite alcohol and also a bottle of Smirnoff Ice. For the younger ones I got a nice candle and more candy. For my maid of honor I also got her a souffle from Panera

This is what I did. 3 out if 4 already knew they would be asked before the box, and the last I gave to her alone. My fh just asked his party.

I have always been a huge bookworm (which my entire wedding party knows!), so I ordered each person a book that I thought they would enjoy reading and wrote a personal message to each person inside the front cover. It was exactly the way I wanted to do it!

I had candles, champagne a tee shirt and some fun goodies. 💚

I'm actually flying out in two weeks to surprise my MOH! I'm pretty sure she has no idea and I'm so excited I could bust! I booked the trip almost two months ago, but had to wait until I knew she'd be in town and flights were cheap. I've also gotten her a few small gifts - a keychain with "love you mean it" stamped on it because that's what we say to each other, a homesick candle from our home state where neither of us live anymore but it's where I'm getting married, and a few other small items. It's going to be a long two weeks, and I've almost wrecked the surprise a few times; so prayers that I won't accidentally tell her.

My Maid of Honor I put together pictures from as far back as I could find, we've known each other since we were 4. Put them in a frame with a handwritten note. At the end of the note was a Post It asking her. Because we had jokes previously about me asking her via post it note my Mateonnof honor I called and asked, since she lives far away, and my others I asked in person.

I did boxes! & I gave my flower girl a Princess Tiana barbie doll & a small bouquet of flowers lol I have a friend in California & I shipped hers 😊
