We met on meetme which used to be myyearbook back in the day. I went on there to make some friends near me I didn't want anything serious after an emotionally abusive 3 year relationship. It had been almost a year since that relationship ended and I had posted a picture of me on that website wearing s Pokemon shirt. He was the first one to answer and made the mistake of saying the original 105 Pokemon were the best I of course had to correct him. After that he messaged me and we ended up messaging for about a month before skyping. We had so much in common and clicked quickly. I still told him I had a wall up and didn't want a relationship he said walls were meant to be broken. After over a month of talking on skype every second we could I knew I was super into him and he asked me to be his player 2 December 24th two weeks before he drove down to see me and after that day we met in person we have been together ever since.

A family member of mine that FH worked with at the time gave my number to FH and told him to talk to me because "I was super pretty and single for way too long"

BTW: I had never had a boyfriend before, and I was only 17 lol I was also FHs first girlfriend too!

We talked for a couple of weeks while I was on vacation with my family and then when I got home he came out to my house and we met for the first time. We drove around for hours and just talked and had a nice time. We saw each other everyday the first week we met and we knew we had to give it a shot, even though we had only hung out for 5 days before making it official..well almost four years later here we are getting married this fall!! lol.

The family member that set us up is now asking for a gift because he gave us the gift of each other. (He's a cheese ball)

FH and I met at a Christmas parade. We didnt talk for 2 weeks after but then i messaged him on facebook just to check in with him and see how he was doing. (We no longer have facebook) we have been together for almost 3 years. Getting married in 164 days now. Hes truely my best friend.

My FH and I met on POF. I had had a few terrible dates that I walked out on and stopped even going on the site. I kept getting messages from him and told him that I was not wanting to date at the time and was taking a brake. He still kept sending messages. I told him I was closing my account because people never find anyone worth while on those sites and he begged me to meet him for a drink after work. I gave him the location and he said he didn't know how to get there. I was like you don't have a phone with GPS? This guy was getting weird. Then he called me and asked me to meet him at his car instead of in the bar. I said hell No. I don't know you. We met in a Hard Rock and had about three drinks and hit it off. then we stopped at two more bars. We talked about how crazy people were to get married and that there doesn't seem to be any true love in the world. Well fast forward 2 years and we are getting married and there is true love.

We met on Tinder! I actually wasn't super interested in him, but agreed to a lunch date. We had such good chemistry in person that the date ended up going on for 12 hours. We've been together ever since.

I met FH in high school. I liked him in 9th grade and he looked right through me. I reached out again in 12th grade and he still didn't seem interested. Another 3 years later I posted a bikini pic on fb and he reached out finally. 7 years later and here we are lol everyone from HS was so shocked! I still feel like I finally won a long battle haha

Tinder! One night my roommate and I were bored scrolling through our Tinder's and decided we wanted to go skiing the next day so we starting asking our matches if they wanted to come. My FI was the only one available because it was Friday and everyone else had to work. So he brought one of his friends from his squadron and met up with my roommate and I at 6am at our apartment and I drove us all up to the ski resort to ski for the day. I remember telling my mom afterwards and she asked me what I would have done if the guys were weird, since I was everyone's ride. Lol. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that awkwardness because we all had a blast! A few days later we had a one on one dinner date. We fell pretty hard for each other. He proposed 11 months later at the same ski resort that we had our first date. I don't know how I managed to get so lucky on Tinder!

Met FH online on Penty of Fish..... I truly hated that site and decided it was going to be the last time i tried to date anyone from there..... FH message me and we hit it off.... talked for about two weeks on phone.... Our first date was Sept 4th.... due to circumstances ( one thing after another) it took 6 weeks to get thru two more dates...But we talked and laughed everyday for hours and hours at a time..... We moved in together the following Jan was engaged by August and here we are almost 100 days away from being husband and wife!

Love it! Met my FH on okcupid. At first I was getting messages from guys who just wanted to hook up... and one actually told me, after I rejected him, that there was no way I was going to find my future husband on that site. Well, I did. And I wish I could find that guy and tell him how wrong he was. lol It's possible to find love anywhere!

We met when we were 18 and working at Disneyland together. I had just been dumped a few months before we started dating. I was not looking for a relationship, but I thought to myself "Why not, it's not like we have to get married or anything." Nearly nine years later, and here we are...

We met at work in HS and I loved him right away. Unfortunately he didn't feel the same rofl. I eventually moved away we didn't talk much but for a text every few months. The conversation would go like me: I'm alive. Thanks for asking.

My FH and I reconnected after 31 years! We dated for a few months in 1984, broke up when the summer ended to go back to college. 2 years ago my mother & I went to a psychic medium to get readings for the new year (in a snow storm, why not right?) the first thing she said was "who's Ida?" Which didn't ring a bell, followed by "tell her about the Sanka, tell her about the Sanka" (instant coffee). This all made no sense at the time. 6 mos later I was stirring my cup of tea & kept hearing in my mind " Sanka, Sanka". Then it hit me...omg my old flame's mom used to drink Sanka! I was at my cousins house when my FH pulled up in his jacked up Toyota, rolled down the window, said hey girl, and then drove off with my cousins boyfriend. It was cute and charming and I can't help but blush when I think about it now.

We met in person at a Japanese Stake house a couple weeks later, instantly clicked as our personalities came out right away, and we've been together for over 3 years now.
