HELP! what am i forgetting?

Colleen, on June 7, 2015 at 8:54 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 11

We are leaving tomorrow to go to MD for the wedding, we're leaving straight after the wedding for our honeymoon too. I just feel like im going to forget something. dress/ shoes/ rehearsal attire are all taken care of, as well as jewelry, gifts and favors/decor. passports, birth certificate (for license), converter. what are some of the things i would be missing for a trip outside the country and the wedding?

Wedding: double stick tape, visine eye drops, sewing kit, safety pins

Honeymoon: you shouldn't need your birth certificate if you have passports, make 2 copies of your passports - keep one at home with family/friends, take the other copy with you but have it separate from the original; if you're going somewhere tropical take sunscreen, bug spray, pepto, and ibuprofen; if your hotel/resort does honeymoon upgrades, they'll want proof like a copy of the marriage certificate or an invitation

Make a list, pack it, check it twice.

Have you put a hold on your mail or asked someone to stop by and check it while you're gone? Have you made sure you've drunk all the milk in the fridge/threw away any perishables?

My venue is far away as well. My mother put together a checklist so that when the day comes we don't forget anything. I def recommend doing that!

Duct tape. Always take duct tape. You never know.

Haha oh God, how did I forget the duct tape!? Um @nothappening, this is definitely not helping my freakout, but I'll remember it could always be worse!

Take a copy of your marriage certificate. If you're staying at a resort that offers a honeymoon amenity, they will most likely require it.

    Have a great trip!
