Grooms tux a different color then GM

We are doing fh in black and gm in light gray, just picked them out today at men's warehouse! I think it will look good

Ive never been to a wedding where the groom and gm wore the same color. If your dress is ivory perhaps he should wear ivory.

My FH is the same as the GM's but with a different colored boutinerre

H and GM all wore black tuxes. H's bout matched my bouquet and GM's bouts matched BM's bouquets.

For us, FH is doing a 3pc black pinstripe suit and the GM are doing solid black 2pc suits. Grey and tan may not be that bad together depending on your setting and what your ladies are wearing.

I'm pretty sure FH and GM are wearing the same color tux, but FH will be in a bow tie and suspenders while GM will be in vests and regular tie.

I don't like gray and tan but my FH is wearing a hot pink tie with hot pink vest and the GM are wearing purple tie and purple vest. A lot of people have the groom stand out, after all it is his day too.

We are doing that. GM will be a lighter shade of grey. FH will be darker shade.

I don't think those colors will look good together either but it's his day too. Have you looked online to see if he would be open to another color ? If he doesn't want to wear another color and wants to wear tan just let him.

My FH wants to also stand out. He's wearing a white tux jacket with the black lapel while the GM will be wearing navy blue tuxes.

My FH is wearing a different color than the GM. He's wearing a wine color and they're wearing navy.

We are two grooms and we are wearing a different colour than the groomsmen.

But light grey and tan, not sure.

We are doing a light grey and navy blue.

We are having FH wear all black and the groomsmen wear a medium grey. It looks awesome.

My FH is also very particular about what he's going to wear. (Ridiculously difficult actually) I don't think we can pick colors quite yet till he decides what color suit he's going to wear. But he wants to stand out as well.

I agree with pp about gray and navy not going together. My fiancé wanted to stand out as well, so he's wearing a slate blue suit and the groomsmen are wearing gray suits. Similar to the navy/gray posts above, but the groom's suit is a touch lighter.

I think it would look just fine. You pick your dress, he picks his tux. Let him have this

Mine is doing all black while the GM are wearing royal blue

Is his wedding too so he can wear whatever he wants
