Have your MOH hold up your dress. Thats how I've always seen it done. But I am gonna try not to drink much LOL. At least not until I change out of my gown into my recp. dress.

I am wearing items to "hold me in" so to speak, so I am hoping so too. LOL. Good luck.

    Lots of good info here:

And woah... that bride sounded like she was either full of joy or full of alcoholic beverages lol. I'm gonna assume the latter since it's her third time using the bathroom!

Funny! My MOH will be right there with me, no doubt about it. Especially since I'm wearing a two-tier skirt under my dress. When I first went to look at my reception venue, they showed me the bridal suite bathroom that the bp will have access to all night. It was huge! So that helps too.

Take a clean, white sheet with you to the reception. When it's "that time" lay the sheet on the floor and step out of your dress. Take care of business and step back in your dress and viola, it's all done and no stains!

I'm either having my moh or another bm do it or a personal attendant. Or my mom haha whoever is close. :-)

LOL@ Moment- As if you can simply "step out" of a bridal gown. Riiiiight.

You gotta hold up the front, take off your undies, walk forward onto the toilet and sit down (you have a train, remember). Do your business facing the wall, and exit. Just make sure the floor is clean, and take a BM to help hold the dress.

I've had to help brides go to the bathroom as a BM. It's pretty funny. One of my friends literally had to stand on the toilet seat and squat while 3 of us held up her immensely poofy dress. We were laughing so hard we almost pushed her in.

I'm planning on what Analy said... it seems the most logic thing to do but.... I've got a trumpet gown that's pretty fitted... i don't think that really "lifts"... lol

Lol, I already asked a friend to be my bathroom buddy on the day.

She thought it was the oddest request she's ever received Smiley smile

I've had dozens of brides do this - and it works every time. Trains are usually bustled by the reception, and unless you have to deal with hooks and eyes as the dress closure, you can just step out of your dress. Believe me - I have brides do it all the time and talk about easy it was, when they never thought it would be!
