Get married 3 months from today! Hello September brides!

98 days for me. I just ordered the ribbons for the favors, the bell for the bell carrier and the flutes and servers today. How coincidental, we got engaged in March and our planning started right away. I'm trying to make this a wedding planning free weekend. I think I need a break from it to proceed again next week.

I am in freak out mode lol.

VMDIZZLE - I have my first dress fitting on July 5th. My daughter's MOH dress and my mother's dress came in this week. Like you two, we have lots of little things to buy like votives and candles for the tables, flower girl baskets, etc. Dance floor lights? Do tell! Also, what do you envision for your outfit?

YESSSSS ME TOOOOOOOO. I am SO excited but also feeling like I have been slacking even though I've been planning nonstop.... I told my sister last night, "SORRY NOT SORRY but I'm going to only talk about the wedding for the next three months. I've been holding it in for a year now." She got it. I hope...

ETA - Sorry I got too excited I forgot to add what I'm working on. This week I've been testing out different options for addressing envelopes (clear labels? printing onto envelope? the dreaded handwritten?!). I want to go with printing and I love how it came out, but FH was like "aww but I love the look of it being handwritten..." The look I gave him.... with 110 invites that's NOT happening. I also just started making a day-of timeline, list of things to bring, and a list of things left to buy/DIY. Hopefully this weekend I'll get started on some of the DIY decorations.

I was printing envelopes and invites last night and started putting them all together. I want to send them out next week. I have a lot of DIY to finish. I need to get my bouquets and centerpieces done so bad!!

Andrea - we are date twins!

I am waiting on my sample invitation so I can make final approval and then I can finally place the order. I am working on DIY cake stands and that is about it right now.

I have my first dress fitting on July 2nd and I am a little nervous about it but I still have time to get to the gym if needed before my final fitting, just need to breathe!

Also going shopping with one of my BM this weekend for shoes for the wedding.

Andrea - tell me about your bell carrier! Are you having someone play bells? Wedding planning free weekend for me too! Will be spending sometime at the pool!

MrsPope - LOL what are you freaking out about? Is there something major that needs to get done?

Kari - shoes is becoming the bain of my existence! I want ivory flats, but they are hard to find. I also think we are going to decorate them in some way like the shoes I see on Etsy. I think about the shoes wayyyy to much. My FH and daughter keep telling me to stop stressing about the shoes of all things LOL

@Kari - Hi date twin!! We actually bought the print yourself invitations got a great deal with 60% off at Joanns. Wish me luck, lol. My first dress fitting (done by my Godmother- she used to make wedding dresses for a living) will be the end of this month.

@Kelli - the bell carrier rings the bell as he runs down the aisle yelling "the bride is coming, the bride is coming". He will wear an ivory tuxedo to match the color of my dress.

I am really starting to freak out! 86 days here. Invites went out last week and we've already started getting response cards back.

FH will be making lifesize jenga this weekend for the cocktail hour. I feel like he's really taking on a huge project here.

Yes 3 more months!!!!! So excited, I too have been talking about the wedding a lot lately! Okay I have to order the cake :/ schedule fittings for me and FH, check in with vendors later, and just some small decor stuff. We are getting our engagement pics next week (I know late) but we're only going to use them for our wedding and website. This weekend I'm going to relax and watch OITNB and not spend any money!

Hi 9/12 date twins!! im starting to look for our outfits since im not wearing a wedding dress and he's not wearing a tux. And calling catering to figure out dishes.

Super excited. I am in get things done mode. I started addressing invitations so I don't have to do a million at once, I still have to get our bouquets. Dinner playlists, timeline, final fitting (I've already had one) all still left to do. Shopping for mom's dress next weekend. Should only have 1 small DIY left and I may had that one off. Gifts to buy, and then all the last minute stuff- ironing linens, vendor meetings, etc. Still making sure we save enough money (though we have less than $500 we need to save! ) I think as long as I am doing something wedding every weekend, we should be okay. Biggest things are flowers, invitations, and recruiting the help for a few DIYs. And of course pay off vendors.

Getting so close! I feel like the majority of thing I have left to do are all DIYs. We are going to work on getting our invites stuffed and addressed this weekend (I actually ended up hating the invites we did- diy- but they're going to end up in the trash anyways, i guess.)

First fitting is Tues, second hair trial scheduled (didn't love the first) and still need to buy FG/RB and GM gifts.

@Margaret, ugh paying off vendors. Serious anxiety over that.

It's getting busy now! I don't feel stressed, but planning is definitely in overdrive! I'm working on all the little details now. I just took our invites to the post office and found out postage would be $.98 a piece. Psshhh.

I am 3 months and 2 weeks out, I haven't gotten to the time flying feeling yet. I think that will come soon though as I finish up all the things still left to be done. I am finishing up my brooch bouquet, looking for where I am going to get my alterations done, will attempt my print at home invitations, and catching up on all the final payments.

It's like I'm PMSing 100% of the time with all the stress and it really sucks... I'm going to be a horrible pregnant person when the time comes, I can already tell. We've had a lot of drama with FILs lately and I've entered IDGAF mode with them so that should help with my stress levels.

We're just down to the details now! We've recently done tuxes, FG dress, and our guestbook. Invitations go out in two weeks!

Is anyone else's year speeding up the closer this wedding gets?
