What percentage of your business is dedicated to receptions?

Would we actually have you on our wedding day? Do you have a replacement if necessary?

What type of music do you specialize in?

What type of sound system do you have?

Can you act as a master of ceremonies? How do you dress?

Can you provide a light show?

Do you have a cordless microphone?

How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

Do you play recorded music during breaks?

Do you have liability insurance?

What are your fees for a 4-hour reception?

What is your cost for each additional hour?

How would you describe your personality?

Additionally, you'll want to make clear things you don't want at all, like props or if you prefer he doesn't talk, whatever else you need. Have fun!

Oh, forgot one...ask if you are expected to provide a meal for the DJ (and does he/she have any staff you'd have to feed, as well!)

Haha, I'm huge on my lists! My venue manager was stunned at my schedule for the day (evidently, she just needed to know what time we'd be there and if we were also having our ceremony there You're welcome!

That is so great! I got all my vases today. I finally found them and the small ones for the side. They was on clearance at Walmart for 3.00. Whoot whoot.. love'n good deals!
