My dad is a wonderful guitar player. He was in a band in his younger years and now is the leader of our praise and worship team at church in which I sing in. When I was in 7th grade, he was diagnosed with a disease called CIPD (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy). He's doing well and his prognosis is good but the disease has left him with fairly limited mobilty. He is able to walk but standing for long periods of time and stairs tend to be his downfall. I had no idea what we were going to do in leu of a Father Daughter dance but he recently suggested that he play the Guitar and I sing instead of dancing. Do you think it could work? I've never heard of anyone doing anything like this before and would love to hear your suggestions!
