Falling behind

I’m in a stuck middle point where all the things I can do are done and the things left can’t be done until I’m in your shoes (time wise). I hate it because I KNOW it’s going to feel like a rush when it does come

I think we have the same date! Mine is on Friday night June 29th, so yours may be the 30th. Yes I feel like this constantly. We’re down to smallish details and making things for the ceremony and reception. My FH doesn’t have his clothes, my boys don’t have theirs, I don’t have a wedding program or a timeline. We put a bid on a house last week though, so the time that we spent looking at houses can now be put towards packing my house and making the decorations. The checklist on this app stresses me because it says “overdue” lol. FH decided he wanted ushers today, so he’s asking his cousins to do the job. Now it’s stuff like that also-he wants ushers (surprise!), his mother wants me to make invites for her friends at church (surprise!- we sent save the dates as invites because this is a second wedding for both and very informal), one bridesmaid dropped out last night (surprise!- it was a friend of my future step-daughter that is like a second daughter to FH, but her actual dads are sending her to camp). I know this is a rant, lol. But believe me, you are not alone. In 73 days we will be done and have fabulous amazing weddings!

Yea I feel the same and my wedding isn't till October. I'm stuck right now waiting for possible vendors to respond. I want to move forward but I can't! I'm still looking for an officiant, hair, makeup, and baker. I feel so behind...

I'm 3 months down. July 14th. I agree that I feel a little stuck. I have to get my invitations ready to send on the 4th of May. I just need to get them together, address them and done. It's hard to keep focused on one thing, when your mind is going on and on about other things. We are going to be ok.

I'm at 80 days and I feel your pain. I've been stressed over getting invitations done. They're ready to mail out tomorrow (two days later than planned), and my mind is reeling with how much is left to do and also how much stuff still has to wait on RSVPs.

I only had 5 months from engagement to wedding. I felt totally rushed...in hindsight it was not that bad, all decisions were made quick and easy. No time for me to second guess myself
