We picked clothes that represented who we are! We just got ours back yesterday. Here's an example!

Then we had a more dressy look!

Mine was super easy, because FH had a secret photographer capture the moment he proposed, plus an immediate engagement photo session afterwards.

Choose something that you think defines YOU, or just choose something pretty to match with the scenery. Do you have a location in mind?

I was planning on wearing a short black sun dress and the women of the family were like oh..... so I second guessed it and sent with a short semi-formal blue dress. FH wore slacks and a short sleeve dress shirt, no tie.

ETA: I would second the comments above. Wear something that you're comfortable in and don't be too matchy matchy. Also, I've heard plaid photographs well.

We haven't done our photos yet (been nagging FW about it lol) but, I would love to do a winter or autumn themed picture because we got engaged in the winter but also, we love the fall. I personally think that's the best time for fashion anyway so, it gives me more choices for the shoot. But I'm picturing warm and snuggly.

I agree with everyone above me. Go with something that you feel comfortable in. You'll look more relaxed in your pictures and feel more yourself the day of. We took ours in the fall with beautiful foliage so we went with neutral colors.

@uofm you have a bus!? Me toooo! What year is yours? Ours is a '66 deluxe.

As for what to wear, I brought most of my wardrobe and FH's and had my photog look it over and pick the outfits!
