diy typo fail... reorder or make it work?

I made this welcome sign on vista print and I double checked it but I guess with everything going on and all the projects I’ve been doing I missed a typo! Such a minor typo that I can totally see how it slipped through.

My wedding is June, 16 and the sign says June, 6
I could insert a “1” but with how close the font is and getting an exact match would be difficult so I think it would bug me. Instead I had the idea of covering it up all together. We love collecting photo booth strips so I cut up some double prints I had to make it look “on purpose”.

Does this look okay? Should I just order a new sign? My fiancé likes it, but I really don’t want anything tacky looking at our wedding.

P.S. excuse the bad lighting for the sign, it looks bright white in person

Side note! I love the addition of the pictures as well! I think it looks better than without!! Just glue them on really well so the mistake is not seen!

I absolutely love it with the pictures but like everyone else said try contacting Vista Print. We ordered 100 save the dates through them and some of our envelopes were damaged. we called to get new envelopes sent and they just went ahead and sent a entire new order of save the dates. Customer service there is great!

Personally, I'd probably just save the time, money, and hassle. I think the picture idea is a good coverup. Later on you'll probably laugh about the mishap.

Love this idea! Very creative thinking to fix it. Not necessary to order a new one. You can spend that money on other things. You’re guest will remember the welcome sign more because of the pictures. I’d also add pictures to cover the city and state.

Contact Vistaprint's customer service. I've had amazing feedback from them and they might just replace it for free. 😊

Thanks everyone! I’m probably just going to keep it the way it is. As someone mentioned I’m not going to save it after the wedding. & like another person said I’ll see how it looks with more pictures also covering up the city and state.

These are photo strips we have taken from over the years, so they all have different boarders/themes. I noticed this as well, that’s why I was hoping it didn’t look tacky

My first thought was to have it reprinted because that would really bother me.

However, I like the picture option. I would cut the borders so they look a little neater and make sure they're flush against the board.

I think it's fine! I love the pictures on there. It has more character than the first one. You don't really need the date since those in attendance will already know
I vote that you keep it and use it. Great idea no one will know the difference, it looks so good ! 👍
